Baby Botox

Have you heard of the trend called Baby Botox? If you haven’t you should know about it. First off, what is Botox and why should you be interested? We have all heard about Botox. It’s that stuff that women use to make their face not move right? Kind of. Botox is an injectable medication that is used for both medical and cosmetic purposes. When I say Baby Botox, no I’m not talking about injecting Botox into babies (phew!), I’m talking about small doses of Botox to improve the appearance of your skin. So what does this mean to you?

Prevention! Yes, Prevention of those pesky fine lines and wrinkles. The term Baby Botox was originally introduced for the millennial generation to start receiving before fine lines and wrinkles set in. So how is this different from regular Botox Cosmetic? Smaller doses are administered to lessen the movement of the facial muscles. This does not mean your face will be “frozen.” Over time, it is the combination of facial expression in addition to other factors that cause those fine lines. Decreasing the movement of the muscles can delay or prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. Does this mean you can stop taking measures to preserve your skin, absolutely not, but it’s just one way we can preserve your youthful appearance. So what does this mean if you already have fine lines and wrinkles? Maintenance.

Yes Baby Botox can also be used as maintenance. After fine lines and wrinkles have already appeared and you are already getting regular Botox treatment, we can use Baby Botox in between treatments to fill in the gap between your regular maintenance treatments. Approaching Botox with this thought allows us to use less Botox between and possibly less at your maintenance appointments. Added benefit, not having to wait until your maintenance appointment with your Botox wearing off completely.

Best of both worlds. Baby Botox is for everyone! We can prevent and treat, leaving you with the look you desire! Guys, don’t feel left out! Brotox is for you! (Same principles apply as above!)
